The mission
The Day Surgery Foundation's main goal is the realization, the implementation, the initial take off and the starting organization of an independent multi-disciplinary departmental Day Surgery Unit inside a regional hospital facility as well as the cultural and theoretical-practical elaboration and enrichment in the Day Surgery field.
This Unit, in compliance with the chosen Hospital facility, will be dedicated to the memory of Professor Piero Pietri, former Director of the Surgical Clinic I and of the Specialization School of Surgery of the University of Milano and also founding Member of the Italian Society of Ambulatory Surgery and Day Surgery.
